Marisa P. Clark debuted her Autumn/Winter 2018 collection at Paris Fashion Week on March 3rd, 2018. The show was held at the Intercontinental Grand Hotel, featuring an array of international up and coming designers.

The emerging Canadian designer showcased a 10-piece collection featuring bold patterns, simple cuts and rich colours. This collection reflects the designer’s pursuit for emphasizing strong feminine pieces that interplay between contemporary and classic. The collection included a selection of pieces that can be worn in a magnitude of ways and compliment any wardrobe.

When asked about her inspiration Marisa turns to her recent travels, “The delicate silhouettes and soft cuts in this collection were inspired by the rich desert scenery I saw in Oaxaca, Mexico. I gravitated towards the contrast between natural elements, such as the plants and animals, with local artisanal culture. This was paired with the bright textiles I saw during my travels in Guatemala.”

The show was produced by Oxford Fashion Studio that show internationally in London, New York, Milan and Paris. Marisa was ecstatic when they reached out and invited her to Paris. This has been a long time goal of the designer. The show went more than well with a full audience and attention from Fashion Week Online, Fashion News Live, Kore Magazine and Distract TV.

With success at Paris Fashion Week Marisa P. Clark is looking forward to the summer and what upcoming seasons hold!
