Spring/Summer 18 at Los Angeles Fashion Week

Canadian fashion designer, Marisa P. Clark, showcased her spring summer 2018 collection with an uplifting runway show at Los Angeles Fashion Week (26 Sept – 2 Oct).

Brimming with fun and whimsical femininity, the 12-piece collection showcases the talents of the Calgary-born fashion designer, with her fashion pieces proving eye-catching, practical and easy-to-wear. The show proved the perfect follow-on from a hugely successful appearance at the Vancouver Fashion Week in September.

Marisa will now use the winter months to focus on selling her wholesale, ready-to-wear line which is set for release in early spring.

In addition to praise from fellow designers and buyers, Marisa has also received high praise for her commitment to creating a fair trade fashion line that meets ethical standards, empowering small businesses in developing countries. This was reflected in her trip to Vietnam earlier this year, where she forged partnerships with local producers. Her ready-to-wear collection has been created to further push the drive for sustainable, ethical and eco-friendly clothing.
